Robert Andreatta is Vice President and controller at Google.
Previously, he was Genentech’s vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. In this role, Andreatta is responsible for reviewing all corporate and functional accounting matters for all US pharmaceutical operations of the Roche Group, including managing the monthly accounting close process, delivering financial results internally, and managing the corporate financial service and corporate accounting groups, as well as supporting the services provided by the Collaboration and Treasury groups. He is also a member of the Roche Group’s (Global) Controller’s Board.
Andreatta joined Genentech in 2003 as director, Collaborations Finance. He has held positions of increasing responsibility including director, Corporate Accounting and Reporting and senior director, Corporate Finance and assistant controller. Andreatta was appointed controller in 2006, named chief accounting officer in 2007 and appointed vice president in November 2008. Prior to his employment with Genentech, Andreatta was chief operating officer and chief financial officer at HopeLink Corporation. Prior to that, he was an audit partner with KPMG LLP.
Andreatta holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Santa Clara University.
